Tactics

It's not unusual that people have disagreements. After all, we each have a unique point of view. It's how we deal with disagreement that is telling.  One tactic that I've been introduced to is very interesting.

Person A doesn't agree with Person B. Person B persists. Person A gets pissed at Person B. So far, ordinary.  Now watch this. Instead of looking at things from another angle or blowing the whole thing off, Person B then gets double or even triple pissed because Person A is pissed and apparently Person A isn't supposed to have an opinion or perhaps is not entitled to a point of view or maybe is not permitted to express his/her feelings and should go along to get along. Anyway Person B elevates the situation to a war of silence.  Brilliant move!  Nothing gets solved this way . . .
